Not Drying or Cleaning
- Rinse aid needs to be used to help with the drying process. If rinse aid is not used the dishes will not dry. Information on this in the manual.
- If rinse aid is used. The level can be changed to add more or less dependent on whether the dishes are drying correctly or not.
- We have received feedback that powder works better than tablets when it comes to drying.
- If the dishwasher is not packed as specified in the manual.
- Overloading the dishwasher.
- Plastic will not dry as well as other items. The reason is it cannot retain heat due to its mass, resulting in droplets that can drop on other items and make those items not look dry. (a lot of information on this online)
- The filter has to be cleaned frequently.
- Obstacles preventing the spray arms from rotating. It is recommended to spin both arms once before starting a cycle to make sure its rotating freely
- Cleaning the spray arms as per the manual as the holes can get blocked due to food debris.
- Try using a heavy or intensive setting as this has a higher water temperature and might be more suited to your needs.
The Parmco dishwasher does not have an exposed element like other brands as we have opted
for a more economical design and energy saving technology. Because of this the
use of rinse aid is a must for all our dishwashers as this assists with the
drying process.
The
energy saving technology works by using the residual hot air to dry the dishes.
After the cycle is finished the door should be opened and left ajar for a
further 15 minutes allowing the dishes to cool down, this will also help the
drying process. Be careful of hot air/steam escaping when the door is opened.
Note:
If the door is closed any longer than this it may result in condensation
on the sides of the dishwasher and the dishes becoming wet again.
