Burnt-on crusts: Standard scrubbing will fail and risk scratching the glass. Hold a single-edge razor blade scraper at a 45-degree angle to lift baked-on debris safely while the surface is flat.

Element turns on and off constantly: This is normal operation. The radiant elements cycle on and off to maintain the selected temperature setting.

Scratches appearing: Often caused by dragging pots across the surface or tiny salt/grit particles under pans. Always lift pots instead of sliding them.
