Cooktop glass seems bowed or warped
The acceptable tolerance level for a bow in ceramic cooktops is up to 2mm for 600mm cooktops.
Tempered glass-ceramic panels naturally exhibit some degree of bow or warpage as an inherent result of the heat treatment and rapid cooling (quenching) processes used to make the glass strong and heat-resistant.
The minimal deviation does not compromise the structural integrity, safety, or expected performance of the hob.
You can also try the following to see if it helps. Loosen all the screws on the sides that keeps the glass in place, and then just screw them back in. Sometimes there can be a slight bow from overtightening and when the screws are loosened and refitted it solves this.
If its within the 2mm tolerance level, then a clear silicone would generally be used to fill up the gap.
